Artwork Guidelines

Our artwork department is PC based. The programs we currently use are Adobe Illustrator CS, Photoshop CS, Corel Draw 8.0 [text must be converted to curves]. Files from other programs are acceptable if saved in EPS or TIF format.

All files must be built at 300 dpi or higher. Please keep in mind, the higher the resolution, the better. Although all files should be EPS or TIF, we will accept native output files from Adobe Illustrator (.ai) [save all text to "OVERPRINT", and convert all black objects to 100% black (not CMYK)] and Adobe Photoshop (.psd).

When preparing artwork, please put 1/8" border around artwork. No bleeds please.

We cannot accept JPEG, GIF, and BMP images, as these will result in a great loss of image quality.

Please be sure to convert your text to outlines or paths to avoid potential font problems. We accept digital files on the following media: CD-R or CD-RW Email files can be transmitted (files must be under 4 MB for transmittal). When sending an order, please be sure to also fax us a hard copy of the artwork, as it should appear.

We are not responsible for errors if a faxed layout is not included with your Purchase Order.

When our proof is approved by you or your client, please e-mail it to us immediately. The proof charge is 15v. Once our proof is approved, we are not responsible for any error, misspelled words, pictures, colors, etc.
